What the Body Remembers - Print

Price

£80.00

THIS IS A PRINT NOT THE ORIGINAL ARTWORK. What the Body Remembers explores the idea that our bodies are more than physical forms; they are living records of our experiences. Every contour, shadow and imperfection tells a story, carrying traces of the lives we've lived and the emotions we've felt.

By removing the subject's identity, the artwork invites the viewer to look beyond appearance and consider the invisible experiences that shape us. It reflects on the relationship between our physical selves and our personal histories, suggesting that some stories are carried within us, even when they are never spoken.

I also particularly like The Architecture of Being for this piece. The strong, almost sculptural collarbones and dramatic shadows make the body feel like a structure, while the exposed skin introduces a sense of fragility. It would work especially well alongside Everything We Cannot See as part of a collection exploring the human form.
